Professor Carsten CARSTENSEN  is invited by 2 laboratories : LAMA and CERMICS.

He is interested in the design and the mathematical foundation of adaptive algorithms and novel discretization schemes such as discontinuous Petrov Galerkin schemes in computational partial differential equations and the applied and numerical analysis of nonlinear phenomena in mechanics.
