Professor Boris Bukh is invited by 2 laboratories : LAMA ( Laboratoire Analyse Mathématiques Appliquées) and LIGM (Laboratoire Informatique Gaspard Monge).
Boris Bukh is associate professor at the mathematics department of Carnegie Mellon University, in Pittsburg. He is a specialist of various aspects of combinatorics. He will be visiting LIGM for a month in June 2018 to work with Xavier Goaoc on geometric partitioning problems, pattern avoidance in order-types and questions in incidence geometry arising from computer vision.
Professor Boris Bukh and Artem Zvavitch will meet at a colloquium Maths-Info on June 5th, 2018.
